February 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Thursday that it has opened a tender for awarding a 6.2 million levs ($3.4 million/3.2 million euro) contract for consultancy services related to the construction of a ring road in the city of Gabrovo, in northern Bulgaria.
The road agency plans to file the project for EU financing under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), it said in a tender notice.
The tender envisages control, supervision, as well as engineering works in connection to the construction of the ring road, about 10.6 km in length, along with the construction of a tunnel under the Shipka peak, located in the region.
Technical criteria will carry a 60% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
Candidates have until April 13 to submit their offers.
