Bulgarian River Shipping booked income of 25.95 million levs from its transportation operations and 3.65 million levs from production activities. The company said the main factor for its revenue performance in 2022 continued to be the intensity of trade between the countries of the lower Danube region.
Bulgarian River Shipping also reported operating expenses of 21.7 million levs for 2022, up from 16.7 million levs in 2021. The rise was due to higher costs for materials, expenses for external services and remuneration costs.
