December 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Private Equity Fund [BUL:BPT] said on Friday it plans to raise its capital to 8.2 million levs ($4.46 million/4.19 million euro) from 2.05 million levs.
The company will issue 6.15 million shares with a nominal value of 1 lev each, equal to their sale price, Bulgarian Private Equity Fund said in a bourse filing.
The proceeds will be used to put together a portfolio of stocks of companies in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, real estate, banking and non-banking financial sectors.
The capital increase will be considered successful if at least 500,000 new shares are subscribed for and paid.
Bulgaria’s Capman will act as investment intermediary in charge of the process.
