April 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Private Equity Fund [BUL:BPT] said on Thursday it has successfully increased its capital by 1.27 million levs (700,000/650,000 euro) through a new share issue.
A total of 1.27 million shares with a nominal and sale price of 1 lev each have been subscribed for and paid for, the company said in a bourse filing.
Before the share issue, the company had a registered capital of 2.05 million levs, it said in its prospectus.
In the prospectus, Bulgarian Private Equity Fund said it will issue 6.15 million shares and would consider the capital increase successful if at least 500,000 shares are subscribed for and paid for.
In December 2016, the company said it would use the proceeds from the capital hike to put together a portfolio of stocks of companies in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, real estate, banking and non-banking financial sectors.
