April 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's health ministry said that it has decided to ease some of the restrictions introduced on March 22 in an attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Bulgaria will reopen cinemas, theatres, libraries, museums and galleries at 30% capacity as of April 12, the health ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
Restaurants will also be allowed to start using their indoor seating at 50% capacity as of April 12. Currently, only restaurants with outdoor seating are allowed to operate.
Shopping malls and casinos will reopen at 50% capacity as of April 16, while night clubs will welcome clients as of April 29, also at 50% capacity.
By Thursday, Bulgaria had registered a total of 364,419 COVID-19 cases, of which 71,720 still active.
