April 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Monday that it has signed a road construction deal with a 50/50 tie-up of local construction companies Raster-Yug and Avtomagistrali-Tcherno More, worth 8.9 million levs ($5.1 million/4.6 million euro), VAT excluded.
The contract benefits from EU finding under Operational Programme Regions in Growth, RIA said in a notice.
The deal concerns a 16.8-km section of the Dupnitsa-Klisura road, in southwestern Bulgaria.
The contract was signed on April 16, according to the notice.
A total of 12 companies submitted offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
