July 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Food Safety Agency said that it confirmed six new outbreaks of African swine fever in domestic pigs, all in villages in the region of Pleven, in northern Bulgaria.
All pigs in the farms will be culled, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.

The agency has set up a three-kilometre prevention zone and a ten-kilometre surveillance zone around each of the farms.
Earlier this month, the Food Safety Agency reported two other outbreaks of African swine fever in domestic pigs, both in the Pleven region.
