May 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's National Company Industrial Zones said it has selected three local groups in a 72 million levs ($41 million/36.8 million euro) tender for construction works in industrial parks run by the company.
The three consortia, which comprise respectively the companies Patishta i mostove and Ingconsultproekt; Trafik holding, Zebra, Trafikbild and Vias engineering; and Galchev engineering, R.S. Engineering and Biad-S, will be awarded framework agreements after receiving the highest scores in the evaluation procedure, Industrial Zones said in a statement last week.
The winners in the public procurement overtook construction company GP Group in the final stage of the selection procedure. Another eight candidates were dropped from the competition at an earlier stage for failure to meet the requrements of the tender.
Bids were ranked based on price, which carried 60% weight in the final mark, as well as technical criteria.
The tender envisages the signing of four-year deals. Construction works on the street network will be carried out in Sofia, Bozhurishte, Karlovo, Kardzhali, Suvorovo and Telish.
National Company Industrial Zones operates six fully functioning zones - in Sofia, Burgas, Vidin, Ruse, Svilengrad and Varna. It is currently developing five additional industrial sites – in Kardzhali, Stara Zagora, Karlovo, Telish and Suvorovo.
