April 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria may withdraw the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine from vaccination centres across the country if people show no interest in receiving the jab, health minister Kostadin Angelov said.
Currently, there are few people willing to receive the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, Angelov said during a briefing on Monday, as seen in a video published by public broadcaster BNT.
If Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines are withdrawn, they will be stored at the regional health inspectorates or at the facilities managed by state-owned pharmaceutical company Bul Bio, Angelov noted.
The health ministry has not yet decided how to proceed with people who have already received one Oxford/AstraZeneca jab and want to get a second.
