SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 1 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian road infrastructure agency said it has invited bids for a contract worth an estimated 11 million levs ($6.1 million/5.6 million euro) for repairs on three road sections in the area of Smolyan and Kardzhali, in the south of the country.
The cost of the upgrades on the two sections in the Smolyan area, with a length of 5.1 km and 4.3 km, are estimated at 3.6 million levs and 2.8 million levs, respectively, the agency said in a statement on Tuesday.
The reconstruction of the third, 5.9 km section, in the Kardzhali area, is estimated at 4.7 million levs.
The contractor is expected to completed the upgrades within a 120-day period.
Bids can be submitted by May 15.
