January 14 (SeeNews) - Public gas supplier Bulgargaz said it expects the wholesale price of natural gas valid for March in Bulgaria to amount to 112.44 levs ($65.9/57.5 euro) per MWh - a tad lower than the price of 114.31 levs per MWh for February which the state-owned company had proposed to the energy regulator to approve.
Bulgargaz will submit to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) its final proposal for the gas price for March delivery on March 1, taking into account the quotations of the components of the price formula valid for February 28, it said in a statement earlier this week.
The price applicable in January is 133.41 levs per MWh.
The EWRC has the final say on the proposed monthly changes in the wholesale price, at which Bulgargaz sells natural gas to end-suppliers and customers directly connected to its transmission network.
