November 23 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] said on Tuesday it plans to pay an interim dividend of 0.0594 marka ($0.034/0.030 euro) per share, higher than last year's interim dividend payout of 0.0329 marka.
Under the plan, the telco will distribute a total of 29.2 million marka as interim dividend, Telekom Srpske said in a statement filed with the Banja Luka bourse.
The proposal will be put to the vote of its shareholders on December 9.
In December 2020, Telekom Srpske distributed an interim dividend of 0.0329 marka per share, or an overall 16.17 million marka. In addition, 48.2 million marka was paid out to the shareholders as a final dividend of 0.098 marka per share in July 2021.
Telekom Srpske reported earlier non-consolidated net profit rose 46% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2021, reaching 50.2 million marka.
Telekom Srpske is majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija and has its clients mainly in the Serb Republic entity, which forms Bosnia together with the Federation entity.
Bosnia, a country of some 3.5 million, has two other telecommunication companies, both state-controlled - BH Telecom and HT Mostar.
