SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 28 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Sparkasse Bank [SASE:ABSB], a unit of Austrian group Steiermaerkische Sparkasse, said its net profit rose to 23.5 million marka ($13.2 million/12.0 million euro) in 2019, from 19.5 million marka a year earlier.
The bank's net interest income edged down to 44.7 million marka last year from 45.8 million marka in 2018, while the net income from fees and commissions rose 6.8% to 24.5 million marka, Sparkasse Bank said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) on Thursday.
The net assets of the Sarajevo-based lender rose to 1.9 billion marka at the end of December, from 1.7 billion marka at end-2018.
Its shares last traded on SASE on June 5, 2018, closing flat at 100.03 marka.
