SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 25 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by 80.3% on the year to 49.8 million marka ($27.6 million/25.5 million euro) at the end of January, the entity's statistical office said.
Exports fell by an annual 7% to 250.8 million marka in January, while imports grew 1.1% to 300.6 million marka, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly trade report on Monday.
The entity's largest tradе partner in January was Italy with a share of 15.2% of total trade turnover, followed by Serbia with 14.5% and Germany with 10.5%.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
