June 15 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic launched a tender for awarding a 50-year concession contract for the construction of an 80 MW solar power plant worth an estimated 136.9 million marka ($73.4 million/70 million euro), the entity's energy ministry said on Wednesday.
The Planik solar plant, to be built on a 85.4-hectare plot of land in the municipality of Bileca, will have an annual output of some 106 GWh, the Serb Republic's energy ministry said in a statement.
The deadline for the submission of bids is 60 days from the announcement date.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
