November 28 (SeeNews) - The producer price index (PPI) on the domestic market in the industrial sector of Bosnia's Serb Republic rose 7.0% on the year in October after increasing 7.2% in September, official figures showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices in the Serb Republic gained 0.6% in October, following a 0.9% rise in September, according to a monthly report posted on the website of the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic.
By purpose of consumption, the producer price index in the manufacturing industry rose 11.1% year-on-year in October, compared to a 11.9% increase in September; in the mining industry it fell by 0.5% after rising by 1.5% in September; while the price of utilities edged up 0.2% in October after remaining unchanged in the previous month.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
In 2017, the Serb Republic's PPI on the domestic market rose by 2.0%, compared to an average growth of 1.5% in the prior year.
