SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 4 (SeeNews) - The construction output of Bosnia's Serb Republic decreased 5.8% year-on-year in 2019, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.

The construction of buildings decreased 4.8% in 2019, while civil engineering construction output dropped by 6.9%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a quarterly report, quoting unadjusted figures.

Working-day adjusted construction output in the fourth quarter of 2019 decreased by 4.5% year-on-year. Construction of buildings shrank by 7.9%, while civil engineering construction decreased by 2%.

Seasonally-adjusted construction output edged down 0.4% in the October-December period as compared to the previous quarter. The construction of buildings dropped 1.5% on the quarter, while civil engineering construction decreased by 0.5%.
