Bosnia's registered jobless numbers fall in June Work, labour costs, worker

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 20 (SeeNews) - The number of registered unemployed people in Bosnia dropped by 9.5% on the year to 405,476 in June, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said on Tuesday. 

On a monthly comparison basis, the number of registered unemployed edged down 0.3% in June, official figures show.

Most of the registered unemployed in June, 130,566, were highly skilled, followed by holders of high school diplomas,114,441, and unskilled people - 113,165.

People with a two-year college education accounted for the smallest share of unemployed - 6,151 people, followed by semi-skilled people - 7,553.

At the end of 2018, the number of registered unemployed in Bosnia was 435,266.

Bosnia has a population of some 3.5 million.
