April 20 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation posted a trade deficit of 1.57 billion marka ($871 million/803 million euro) in the first quarter of this year, compared with a 1.06 billion marka trade gap in the same period of 2021, the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Exports grew 42.3% on the year reaching 2.9 billion marka in the January-March period, while imports surged 44.3% to 4.5 billion marka, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
