SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 24 (SeeNews) – The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina said on Thursday it posted a budget surplus of 60.8 million marka ($36.7 million/31.1 million euro) in the first half of 2017, as revenues increased significantly.
No comparative figures were provided.
The entity's total revenues rose 9.2% on the year to 3.9 billion marka in the six months through June, with tax revenues making up 87.7% of the total, the Federation's government said following a weekly session.
The total revenues are equivalent to 46% of the entity's full year budget plan.
The Federation is one of two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other is the Serb Republic.
