February 28 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation stood at 725 GWh in January, down from 836 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Electricity imports rose to 120 GWh in January from 17 GWh in January 2022, while exports dropped to 162 GWh from 268 GWh, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly report.
The net electricity output of hydropower plants rose to 391 GWh in January, from 362 GWh in the same month of 2022, while the output of thermal power plants declined to 296 GWh from 439 GWh.
The Federation's net electricity output in January was 6.6% higher than in December.
Month-on-month, the Federation's both electricity imports and exports more than doubled in January.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
