May 11 (SeeNews) - The tax administration of Bosnia's Federation said it collected 1.7 billion marka ($925.2 million/854.9 million euro) in taxes in the first four months of 2020, down 5.5% compared to the like period of last year.
In April alone, the tax administration collected 391.1 million marka, down 5.27% on the month, the entity's tax office said in a statement on Friday.
Revenue from direct taxes rose 3.5% on the year to 501.5 million marka in the January-April period.
Revenue from contributions, on the other hand, fell 1.8% on the year to 1.2 billion marka in the January-April period on the back of lower payments into the state pension and health insurance funds.
The Federation is one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
