March 29 (SeeNews) - The gross domestic product (GDP) of Bosnia's Federation increased by an estimated real 1.8% year-on-year in 2023, following an annual increase of 4.1% in 2022, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
GDP grew by a real 2.5% year-on-year in the last quarter of 2023, following an annual increase of 2.9% in the third quarter of last year, and a 1.7% rise in the fourth quarter of 2022, the entity's statistical office said in a GDP first estimate.
On a quarterly comparison basis, GDP rose by 0.3% in seasonally-adjusted terms in the October-December period, after rising by 1.2% in the July-September period of 2023, and by 0.5% in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
