November 20 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia's Federation fell 5.8% year-on-year to 741 in the third quarter of 2019, the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Of the total number of permits issued in the July-September period, 597 covered buildings, down 8.7%, and 144 were for civil engineering works, up 8.3%, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
Based on the number of permits, planned dwellings numbered 938, up 6.6% compared to the third quarter of 2018.
The number of building permits issued in Bosnia's Federation in the first nine months of 2019 rose 3.1% year-on-year.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
