December 27 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia's Federation fell 4.1% year-on-year to 234 in November, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings dropped 11.8% on an annual comparison basis to 180 in November, whereas the permits for civil engineering projects went up 35% to 54, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Out of the total number of permits issued in November, 204 covered new construction projects, 15 were related to upgrades and extensions, while the remainder covered works for reconstruction and conversion of buildings and spaces.
Based on the number of permits issued in November, planned dwellings numbered 351, up 15% year-on-year.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
