March 17 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) has opened a 21 million marka ($11.9 million/10.7 million euro) tender for the first phase of a planned overhaul of the Unit 6 boiler of its Tuzla thermal power plant, local media reported on Tuesday.
The deadline for submitting bids is April 17, news portal eKapija.com reported, citing company information.
Seven years ago, Tuzla TPP prolonged the life expectancy of Unit 6 by 15 years, following a 125 million marka revitalisation project, the report recalls. The unit has an installed capacity of 215 MW capacity.
The Tuzla plant has an installed capacity of 732 MW. It produces some 3,600 GWh of electricity per year on average, consuming 3.3 million tonnes of coal.
