SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 23 (SeeNews) – Bosnia and Herzegovina's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.5% year-on-year in July, after edging up 0.3% a month earlier, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages added 1.2% in July, prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 6% and prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels rose 3.2%, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly inflation report.
Prices of healthcare services increased by 0.7% in July, transport prices edged up 0.1%, prices in the sector of services at restaurants and hotels grew 0.7%, whereas prices in education also added 0.7%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Bosnia's consumer prices decreased by 0.6% in July, after edging down 0.5% in June.
