January 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in December totalled 432, up 12.5% on the year, the statistical office said on Thursday.
Of the total number of permits issued in December, 297 covered buildings, whereas 135 were issued for civil engineering works, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.
Based on the number of issued permits, 1,456 new dwellings have been planned for construction, up by 118.9% compared to December 2022.
The overall number of building permits issued in Bosnia in 2023 was 14.8% higher on the year, while the number of new dwellings planned for construction rose 6.9%, it said without elaborating.
