January 28 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia in 2019 fell 0.6% on the year, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
The statistical office did not provide a figure for the total number of building permits issued in the country last year.
In December alone, the number of building permits issued in Bosnia decreased by 17% year-on-year to 331.
Of the total number of permits issued in December, 263 covered buildings, down 17% on the year, and 68 were issued for civil engineering works, down by an annual 15%, the statistical office said in a statement.
Based on the issued permits, a total of 567 new dwellings were planned for construction, up by 9.7% compared to December 2018.
