SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 6 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia decreased by 3.3% year-on-year to 376 in October, the country's statistical office said on Friday. 

Of the total number of permits issued in October, 319 covered buildings, down 0.3% on the year, and 57 were issued for civil engineering works, down by an annual 17.4%, the office said in a statement.

Based on the issued permits, a total of 601 new dwellings are planned for construction, up by 7.5% compared to October 2018.

The number of issued building permits in Bosnia in the period January-October increased by 0.8% on the year, the statement said without providing a figure for the total number.
