May 29 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 7.9% on the year in April, after an annual increase of 10.3% in March, the country's statistical office said.
In April, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages surged by 12.8% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities went up 14.6%, while transport prices fell by 5.3%, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices added 0.1% in April, after rising by 0.4% in March.
Bosnia closed last year with average annual inflation of 14%, up from 2% in 2021.
