SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 28 (SeeNews) – Bosnia and Herzegovina's consumer price index (CPI) rose 1.8% year-on-year in October, after increasing by 1.7% a month earlier, official statistical data showed.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 0.1% year-on-year in October, prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 5.9% and prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels added 3.8%, according to a monthly inflation report published by Bosnia's Agency for Statistics.
Prices of healthcare services rose by 2.4% on the year in October, transport appreciated by 12.7%, prices in the sector of services at restaurants and hotels became 0.5% more expensive, while prices in education also added 0.5%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Bosnia's consumer prices rose by 0.9% in October, after growing by 0.5% in September.
Bosniaswung to annual inflation of 1.3% in 2017, from 1.1% deflation in 2016.
