November 19 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's beer exports reached 4.2 million Bosnian marka ($2.4 million/2.1 million euro) in the first nine months of 2021, up 41.9% on the year, figures by the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina showed.
Beer imports to Bosna went up 11.9% on the year to 89.8 million marka in the nine months through September, the chamber said in a statement earlier this week.
Serbia remained Bosnia's most important trading partner in the beer segment in the first nine months of 2021.
Bosnia's beer imports from Serbia amounted to 678,000 hectolitres in the period under review, while Bosnia's beer exports to Serbia totalled around 39,000 hectolitres.
The other main beer importers to Bosnia were Croatia, with 334,000 hectolitres, and Slovenia with some 120,000 hectolitres in the first nine months of this year.
