April 3 (SeeNews) - The net profit of Bosnian cement factory Tvornica Cementa Kakanj [SAJ:TCMKR] decreased to 15.9 million marka ($10.0 million/8.1 million euro) in 2017 from 17.7 million marka in the previous year, the company said on Tuesday.
The company’s operating revenue rose 12.7% on the year to 70.2 million marka in 2017, while operating costs increased to 54.2 milion marka from 47.1 million marka in 2016, Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) said in its 2017 annual financial report sent to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
TCK is majority-owned by Dutch-based CEEM Investment, a unit of Germany's HeidelbergCement.
TCK is based in Kakanj, in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
