December 28 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of commercial banks operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 21.1 billion marka ($12.2 billion/10.8 billion euro) at the end of November from 20.4 billion marka a year ago, central bank data indicated.
Month-on-month, Bosnian banks' loan portfolio was up 0.3% at the end of November, figures published by the central bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina showed.
Long-term loans amounted to 16.6 billion marka at the end of November, while short-term loans totalled 4.5 billion marka.
Twenty-four commercial banks operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a market of around 3.3 million.
