December 4 (SeeNews) - The deposit portfolio of commercial banks operating in Bosnia rose to 12.012 billion marka ($9.003 billion/6.145 billion euro) at the end of October from 11.621 billion marka a month earlier, Bosnia's central bank said on Tuesday.
The commercial banks' deposit portfolio totalled 11.491 billion marka at the end of August.

NOTES: Bosnia has around 30 commercial banks that serve a market of some 3.8 million people.
The commercial banks' loan portfolio rose to some 11.483 billion marka at the end of October from 11.238 billion marka in the previous month.
The Bosnian convertible marka is pegged to the euro at a fixed exchange rate of 1.95583 per euro under a currency board system.
