January 25 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.2% on the year in December, following an annual increase of 1.7% in November, the statistical office said on Thursday.
Bosnia's average annual inflation abated to 6.1% last year, from 14% in 2022, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
In December, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 3.4% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities fell 0.3%, while transportation prices declined by 3.6%.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices declined by 0.2% in December, after they dipped by 0.1% in November.
