- Bosnia’s Serb Republic Prime Minister Milorad Dodik said he will get involved in the political dialog in Bosnia only if local politicians and not foreigners are in charge of the process. Talks between the leaders of Bosnia’s seven biggest political parties and representatives of the European Union and the U.S. ended inconclusively last week after no agreement could be reached on how to amend the constitution and make the war-divided country a functioning state.
- Bosnia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Trisic-Babic said 39 Bosnian workers left from Azerbaijan for their home country on Sunday and added that all of their compatriots who wish to do the same will be able to do so over the coming days. Bosnian media reported last week that more than 600 Bosnians working in Azerbaijani capital Baku had received no salaries since May and were left without their passports.
