- Bosnia’s Serb Republic has reported its first death caused by the A/H1N1 flu virus. Three people have so far died from the new virus in the Muslim –Croat Federation, Bosnia's other autonomous part. There are 681 people infected with the virus in Bosnia.
- The European Union and the U.S. will not give up supporting Bosnia on its way to EU and NATO membership although another round of negotiations on constitutional reform in Bosnia failed earlier this week, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg said. He met Bosnian political leaders in Sarajevo in an attempt to mediate the reform.
- German cosmetics and consumer goods retailer dm-drogerie markt opened its 28th outlet in Bosnia, its Bosnian unit said.

- Bosnia's biggest paper mill Natron Hayat, controlled by Turkish company Kastamonu Entegre, said it might have to halt production of cellulose in January or February if the government of Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation fails to meet its contract obligations to provide the needed volumes of wood.
