June 29 (SeeNews) - Banka Kombetare Tregtare (BKT) Kosovo, fully owned by BKT Albania, signed an agreement with global network of angel investors Kerietsu Forum to set up a fund of up to 1 million euro ($1.1 million) to support startups in Kosovo and other countries, local media reported.
The fund will aim to attract investors willing to support startups with a potential to enter international markets, news provider Telegrafi quoted BKT Kosovo CEO Suat Bakkal as saying earlier this week.
BKT Kosovo will coordinate the fund establishment, offering investment guidance and portfolio management within the scope of its licence.
Keiretsu Forum operates 53 regional branches worldwide, across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia, according to its website.
