BELGRADE (Serbia), July 11 (SeeNews) – Two out of Belgrade's three stock indices pulled back on Monday as turnover rose, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) shed 0.17% to 725.87 points after ticking up 0.05% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline inched down 0.17% as well to 1,354.08 after climbing 0.05% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna picked up 0.31% to end at 268.71. The index retreated 1.63% on the last working day of last week.
BELEX total turnover rose to 68.6 million dinars ($956,870/680,660 euro) from 44.3 million dinars on Friday.
Decliners outnumbered gainers 10 to nine and 22 companies closed flat on Monday.
Blue-chip oil company Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) rose 0.70% to 721 dinars in a turnover of 20 million dinars, the session's biggest.
Blue chip AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB] ended 0.07% higher at 3,002 dinars in the second largest turnover of 17.6 million dinars.
Cacanska Banka [BEL:CCNB] advanced 5.52% to 15,300 dinars in the third largest turnover of 4.9 million dinars.
The preferred shares of AIK Banka soared 7.02% to 1,250 dinars in the session's most successful trading.
Blue-chip dairy producer Imlek [BEL:IMLK] was Monday's top loser, slipping 3.14% to 2,100 dinars.
