January 25 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed up on Wednesday, with Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] leading the blue-chip gainers' list, bourse data showed.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 1.18% at 851.88 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also closed up 0.60% at 1,768.42.
Aerodrom's shares advanced 5.42% to 1,691 dinars.
Household appliances maker Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] was the sole decliner among the blue chips, losing 0.44% to 23,500 dinars on Wednesday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest single trading turnover on the bourse on Wednesday - of 8.3 million dinars ($429,750). Its shares closed at 701 dinars, up 0.14%.
The bourse's total trading turnover went up to 110.4 million dinars ($1.0 million/939,600 euro) from 13.5 million dinars on Tuesday.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 99.0 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
