BELGRADE (Serbia), September 1 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices on Tuesday continued to build on their gains from the previous session in rising turnover, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange edged up 0.33% to 713.15 points after rising 2.49% on Monday. The broader BELEXline index added 0.04% to 1,355.42 points after gaining 1.66% a day earlier.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna advanced 0.06% to 324.78 on Tuesday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover rose to 92 million dinars ($1.4 million/901,294 euro) from 59 million dinars on Monday. Trade in government securities accounted for 38 million dinars of turnover on Tuesday, up from 22 million a day earlier.
Blue-chip lender Agrobanka posted the session’s highest turnover of 11.1 million dinars. Shares dropped 3.81% to 9,041 dinars.
Industrial gas producer Messer Technogas was the biggest gainer on Tuesday. Shared advanced 8.68% to 5,445 dinars.
Credy Banka and Car retailer and repairer Inex Company were the biggest losers with a 12% drop to 5,531 dinars and 14,960 dinars, respectively.
Ten stocks advanced on Tuesday, 25 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
