October 14 (SeeNews) - Belgrade share indices extended their modest run on Wednesday as turnover rose by about a third, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose 0.48% to 820.60 points after ticking up 0.23% a day earlier. The broader BELEXline index edged up 0.43% to 1,554.51 points after inching up 0.13% on Tuesday.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna gained 0.46% to 371.55 on Wednesday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover rose to 94.7 million dinars ($1.5 million/1.0 million euro) from 66.2 million dinars on Tuesday. Trade in government bonds generated 19.2 million dinars, down from 23.7 million dinars a day earlier.
Blue chip AIK Banka slid 0.53% to 3,002 dinars in the session’s highest turnover of 49 million dinars.
Blue chip Agrobanka dipped 1.17% to 10,964 dinars in the session’s second highest volume of 6.5 million dinars.
Mechanical engineering company Progres was the bourse's biggest loser, tumbling 10.36% to 173 dinars.
Transport company Lasta topped the leaderboard, soaring 18.79% to 885 dinars.
