March 25 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.04% higher at 969.38 points on Monday, with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] rising the most, bourse data showed.
NIS closed 0.60% higher at 840 dinars in a volume of 111 shares.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 0.40% to 987 dinars. A total of 1,295 Dunav shares changed hands, generating the day's largest turnover of 1.3 million dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, ended 0.06% higher at 2,104.59 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 26.7 million dinars ($246,700/253,300 euro) on Monday from 8.8 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 14.1 million dinars of Monday's turnover.
