April 19 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.41% higher at 1,015.11 points on Friday, boosted by gains in Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO], bourse data showed.
Aerodrom closed 2.42% higher at 1,946 dinars in a volume of 308 shares.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 0.71% to 982 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEl:NIIS] generated the day's largest turnover. A total of 89,705 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 76.7 million dinars. NIS closed 0.58% lower at 855 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.26% higher at 2,180.61 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse soared to 1.14 billion dinars ($10.3 million/9.7 million euro) on Friday from 138.1 million dinars on Thursday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 1.05 billion dinars of Friday's turnover.
Between April 15 and April 19 the BELEX15 rose 0.51% while the BELEXline increased 0.18%. Total trading turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose to 1.7 billion dinars this week, from 536.6 million dinars last week.
