PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 9 (SeeNews) – Montenegro-based Azmont Investments, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Global Investments, has launched the D-Marin Portonovi Marina at the Portonovi Resort in Montenegro, the resort operator said.
D-Marin Portonovi is a deep-water marina with 238 berths which will host yachts up to 120 metres long and offer its clients all the necessary maintenance and safety facilities, a customs entry, as well as a fuel station to be opened soon, Portonovi Resort said in a statement.
In January, Azmont Investments signed an agreement with Turkey's D-Marin for the operation of the marina.
Opened on August 1, Portonovi comprises 26 hectares of exclusivity with over 1.8 km of beachfront access, delivering 214 residences with a variety of tenure in its first phase. The resort will provide luxury amenities that include Europe’s first One&Only and Espace Chenot Health Wellness Spa scheduled to open in 2020.
By the end of June, Azmont had invested 469 million euro in the project, while the total investment at the completion of all works would be close to 1 billion euro. In all segments of the project, an average of 1,560 workers are now engaged.
