May 21 (SeeNews) - The assets of investment funds operating in Bulgaria decreased by an annual 5.6% to 3.92 billion levs ($2.2 billion/2 billion euro) at the end of March, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said on Thursday.
Compared to the end of 2019, the assets of investment funds operating in the country were 9.3% lower at the end of March, the central bank said in a press release.
The assets of resident investment funds increased 2.6% year-on-year to 1.6 billion levs at the end of March, while the assets of non-resident funds dropped by 10.5% to 2.32 billion levs.
