TIRANA (Albania), February 21 (SeeNews) – Albania-based low-cost airline Albawings will launch direct flights connecting the capital Tirana to Germany’s Hamburg starting March 30, Hamburg airport said.
The company will offer three flights a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, according to information posted on the website of Hamburg airport. The service will be operated with Boeing B737-400 aircraft.
“We warmly welcome Albawings to Hamburg Airport,” director of aviation marketing at the airport, Joergen Kearsley, said. “The new route means that our passengers now have a direct connection to Albania and our network is growing with another southern European capital.”
Albawings is based at Tirana International Airport.
