December 7 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence indicator rose by 0.9 percentage points (pp) to 108.1 in November, above the long-term average, the central bank said on Tuesday.
The economic confidence indicator in November was mostly influenced by the improved confidence in the construction sector, Bank of Albania said in a monthly survey.
The construction confidence indicator increased 6.3 pp in November, compared with the previous month.
The consumer confidence indicator edged up 0.8 pp month-on-month in November, while the services confidence indicator was unchanged.
The industry confidence indicator fell by 2.7 pp in November compared with October, whereas the trade confidence indicator inched down 1.2 pp.
Bank of Albania is carrying out the surveys of businesses and consumers since 2002. Starting from May 2021, the frequency of the survey was changed from quarterly to monthly.
